Meet Jade. She is who I refer to as my alter ego. She's real and unapologetically herself. She lets her natural laugh ring as loud as it can. She doesn't let her anger steep but releases it like the high note of a boiling, singing kettle. She lets her creativity wander so far outside the lines, she thinks she might be losing her mind. I wanted this piece to be a reflection of my current inner-self, which I used to find scary but now I find invigorating and freeing. Jade is natural and fluid and organic and raw and rough around the edges, but that's what gives her character.
