I am so excited to share that I have been selected as a 2024 Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) Scholar! It is an incredible honor to receive this opportunity and to join such an amazing community. When first given the prompt in April, I immediately knew what I wanted my case study to focus on and have done thorough research the entirety of the process.

For the Design & Product Development case study I completed, I had Vivienne Westwood partner with The Sandy Hook Promise Foundation to bring awareness to the impact of gun violence on our youth through a childrenswear collection. This topic is one that is close to my heart as I have two younger siblings. As their big sister, it is hard to not worry about their safety at school, especially when it has become normalized to turn on the news and see another school shooting tragedy.

END GUN VIOLENCE aims to raise awareness regarding the impact of gun violence against our youth, to educate others on learning the signs of violence, and ultimately to protect our children physically and mentally.
